Updated Dec. 2007

I have been at USD since fall 2001. I spent several years in the Technology for Education & Training (TET) division. I still teach some masters courses in the TET program. Beginning in Fall 2007, I was reassigned to the Educational Administration division. I have a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Human Resources Development from Marymount University.

Previously, I was an instructional designer, trainer, and change management consultant for various businesses and federal government agencies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. It took me awhile to adjust to South Dakota, but now I love it! (except for the very cold days)

Here's a photo of the immersive virtual reality C4 CAVE at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. One of my classes had the chance to visit here in the summer of 2004.

Since my apartment complex doesn't allow me to own a pet, I have a virtual duck, Quackers. animated duck

I wish I had created this charming duck. It came from the Adopt a Duck site, which is no longer active.
