Bio:

I am a master's prepared nurse with exceptional experience in both the clinical and education settings. I have 7 years of experience in nursing education and 14 years of clinical nursing experience. I have a passion for educating nurses as shown by my own education and my many years of educating, orienting, and mentoring new nurses. My recent educator experience includes providing learning opportunities through the use of lecture, group activities, case studies, online activities, simulation, and hands-on training. I also have leadership experience in my current role of Sioux Falls site director.

Teaching Interests:

My primary teaching interest is the family and maternal/child health content in the BSN program. Specifically I enjoy working with students in both the classroom setting and in simulation.
