Financial Aid & Scholarships

A Financial Aid Specialist within the Medical Student Affairs Office helps students navigate the financial aid process. The specialist also provides updates on debt loads at the end of each school year.

Since 2002, we’ve increased scholarships 400 percent. The number of incoming students receiving a scholarship has increased from one-thirds in that time frame.

M.D./Ph.D (Physician Scientist) Program Costs

Students admitted to the Physician Scientist Program are eligible for a fellowship stipend and reduced tuition:

  • Fellowship stipend is currently $26,867 per year.
  • Tuition will be less than in-state graduation tuition. Tuition, fees and required insurance for the entire first year will range from $9,874 to $11,256 for 41 credit hours.
  • Eligibility for continued fellowship support will be dependent upon the student remaining in good academic standing and making satisfactory progress toward the Physician Scientist degree.
