USD's Van Maanen Re-Elected to SDBA Board of Directors

VERMILLION, S.D. -- Michelle Van Maanen, department chair of the Media & Journalism Department and an assistant professor at the University of South Dakota was re-elected to serve on the South Dakota Broadcasters Association (SDBA) Board of Directors at the association’s annual leadership conference held in Sioux Falls, S.D. earlier this month. Van Maanen will serve as the Associate Member of Board for three additional years with her term expiring in 2017.

The South Dakota Broadcasters Association is a trade association that represents South Dakota’s radio and television stations. It provides education, regulatory assistance, and legislative representation to its members.
