USD Ranked Among Most Affordable Online Colleges in US

The University of South Dakota is ranked among the 100 most affordable colleges by the online site Great Value Colleges, an online resource intended to help students get the best possible education for the money.

The website said it used information reported to the National Center for Education Statistics to compile its list of online colleges in the U.S.

USD, listed at No. 62, offers a variety online programs, including: addiction studies, administration, business administration, education, general studies, health sciences, kinesiology and sport science, nonprofit management, professional accountancy, public administration, public health and RS-BSN and many more. Founded in 1862 and the first university in the Dakotas, the University of South Dakota is the only public liberal arts university in the state, with 202 undergraduate and 78 graduate programs in the College of Arts & Sciences, School of Education, Knudson School of Law, Sanford School of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, Beacom School of Business and College of Fine Arts. With an enrollment of nearly 10,000 students and more than 400 faculty, USD has a 16:1 student/faculty ratio, and it ranks among the best in academics and affordability.
