Tyler Moore is an assistant professor of law and teaches courses in constitutional law, jurisprudence, federal courts, and agricultural law. Before coming to South Dakota, Tyler worked as a litigation associate at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and for the Hon. Jonathan A. Kobes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Hon. John M. Gerrard of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. He earned his PhD from the University of Notre Dame, a JD from the Georgetown University Law Center, and his BA from the University of Nebraska. His academic work has appeared or is forthcoming in such publications as the American Journal of Jurisprudence, the Tulsa Law Review, and the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues. In January 2023, he was selected as a Campbell Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Tyler grew up on a farm in rural Nebraska.
