Each of our majors begins with the freshman/sophomore (First/Second Year) curriculum. During the first two years of a four-year program of study, you will complete the liberal learning requirements of the university and the prerequisites for admission to the business majors.

The Pre-Major Business Core must be completed before full admission to the School of Business major is granted.

The Classroom & Beyond

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest news from the accounting and finance Departments at the Beacom School of Business.

  • HEAL is aimed to further increase your knowledge of the healthcare industry in order to build the competitive advantage needed to succeed. Working closely with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE​), HEAL offers opportunities to network with other students and healthcare executives through guest speakers, field trips and meetings.

  • Assistant Professor Carole South-Winter teaches Administration and Policy, Quality in Healthcare, Global Health Systems, Health Care Delivery Systems, Practicum and a faculty-led study abroad each year to study three types of global health care systems.

After Graduation
