dietetic internship

The Dietetic Internship program is a post baccalaureate program for individuals who have completed Didactic Program in Dietetics requirements and at least a bachelor's degree.  The internship provides the supervised practice experience necessary to become eligible to take the national registration examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.  The emphasis area of the Dietetic Internship is nutrition for special needs and underserved populations.

The Dietetic Internship offered through the Center for Disabilities, Department of Pediatrics, The University of South Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, has been granted Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Chicago, Illinois 60606-6995, (312) 899-5400.
