Research Interests:

Our research is centered on examining two aspects of endothelial cell function in the cerebral microcirculation, i.e., regulation of vascular function and permeability of the blood-brain barrier. We examine changes in cerebral blood vessels during a variety of disease states. We believe that our studies provide insight into the pathogenesis of stroke during disease states.
