    Welcome to the USD School of Health Sciences!

    We are the state's comprehensive School of Health Sciences, preparing new practitioners and leaders for South Dakota, the region and the country.

    It is an exciting time to be in the School of Health Sciences where we are building new approaches to health and human services that promote health and prevent illness.

  • The deadline for the Walter Anyan Scholarship is April 9. 

    The scholarship is for Native American students at USD who are pursuing a degree in any undergraduate program in the School of Health Sciences.

Nurses will play a pivotal role in the health care system changes of tomorrow. Our curriculum is concept-based focusing on developing your clinical reasoning skills while incorporating clinical simulation and interprofessional education. We'll prepare you for an in-demand career with many work place options and specializations. There are options for Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science and R.N.-B.S.N. degrees.
