The Bachelor of Science in health sciences gives you an interdisciplinary foundation in health care. You'll have the opportunity to plan an individualized pathway to a specific profession by meeting all pre-professional program prerequisites in addition to the core health sciences courses within the 120 credit hours of this major.
The paramedic specialization allows students to become certified emergency responders while earning a Bachelor of Science in health sciences. This program is offered in partnership with Sanford Health.
The Health Sciences faculty regularly lead students on academic experiences abroad. These programs allow you to explore other countries health care systems.
Undergraduate health sciences students with a record of outstanding academic achievement will have the opportunity to be recognized as a member of the new Sigma Delta Honor Society. Sigma Delta is now an active chapter of the Alpha Eta National Honor Society for allied health professionals and students.
Our student organization creates bonds among future health care colleagues and puts a focus on interaction between many health majors.
