State Board of Nursing Approval

The South Dakota Board of Nursing (4305 South Louise Ave., Suite 201, Sioux Falls, SD 57106-3115, 605-362-2760) has approved the Associate of Science degree from USD.

Student Achievement Outcome Data

In compliance with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing  (ACEN) policy #29:  Advertising and recruitment of students requires that student achievement outcome data are made publicly accessible.  The following outcomes for the Associate of Science (AS) in Nursing are noted in the table below:

AS employment rate: 70% percent of AS graduates actively seeking employment will be employed as a RN within one year of graduation (excluding graduates deferring employment to continue education at a higher level).
