Foundational education to pursue graduate occupational therapy training.
Pre-health areas are not majors, so you won't receive a degree in pre-occupational therapy. You can choose any USD major with required prerequisite coursework in preparation for applying to a graduate occupational therapy program. Most programs require a bachelors degree, preferred GPA and coursework in biology, anatomy, physiology, social sciences, statistics and humanities. USD and other graduate programs consider academic performance, character, knowledge of the profession and a preferred score on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Test or the GRE Revised General Test for entry into the program.
