Thank you for taking the time to visit the McKusick Law Library Web Site. The Law Library is an essential and integral part of the Law School, holding more than 200,000 volumes and occupying three floors on the east end of the law school building. The collection consists of bound volumes, loose-leaf services, microforms, audio and visual tapes, and a myriad of online sources. The Law Library is the leading legal research facility in South Dakota, supporting not just the teaching and research needs of our students and faculty, but also those of the university community, the practicing bar of a four-state area, and the citizens of South Dakota. As the information needs of these groups become more diversified, the Law Library is committed to providing them the resources they need. If you wish to visit the Law Library in person, hours and address are just a click away. The Law School is located at the corner of Cherry St. & Dakota St., or location ULS on the campus map. |
