We teach medical students each of their pillars of education.

Periodic medical correlations and neuroscience as part of introduction to clinical medicine are taught in the first pillar. Pillar 2 students are introduced to palliative and hospice care through three weekly sessions. Composition of each weekly session consists of didactic education, interactive interdisciplinary group discussion and one-on-one home visits with patients under palliative or hospice care.

Pillar 2 is the longitudinal integrated curriculum for Neurosciences. Students spend a half a day each month in a hospital or clinical setting.

Pillar 3 Neuroscience rotations emphasize electives in Clinical Neurology, Neuro Critical Care and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
