VERMILLION, S.D. -- Billie Streufert, director of the Career Development Center at The University of South Dakota, was elected president-elect of the South Dakota Association of College Career Centers (SDACCC) Board of Directors during the organization’s annual meeting. Streufert will serve a two-year term as president-elect.
Before joining the staff at USD, Streufert was a career counselor and adult learning coordinator at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., for three years. Prior to working at Augustana College, Streufert was at North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, Minn. She received her bachelor’s degree from Dordt College and a master’s degree from Minnesota State University. She and her husband, Dan, currently reside in Sioux Falls, S.D. SDACCC's mission is to advance the career development and employment of students attending South Dakota's post-secondary educational institutions. SDACCC members represent a combined total of more than 200 years of involvement with workforce development in South Dakota. Members of SDACCC include officials from nearly all of the universities and technical institutes in South Dakota, some South Dakota Department of Labor offices, and the South Dakota Teacher Placement Center.
