Fall Ball

The lacrosse club had a busy fall season.  They started the season with a dominating 14-1 victory over the newly formed team from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.  Later that day the team played Creighton and ended up losing 11-4.  USD traveled to the great state of North Dakota a few weeks later and had a great showing.  They defeated Minnesota-Moorehead, a Division A team, 11-6.  Later that day they showed their true poise and grit when they defeated NDSU 7-5, after being down until late in the 4th quarter and after sending 3 players to the hospital.  In fall ball, the team also played Northwestern and won 14-9.  Unfortunately they weren't able to carry that momentum into the game against Dordt.  On a snowy parents night for the home team, Dordt, beat USD 14-4.  That left USD 4-2 for the preseason.

League Association

USD Lacrosse plays in the U.S. Lacrosse Men's Division Intercollegiate Association, USLIA.  USD is a member of the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference, GRLC, B Division.
