• Let the poetry of Christine Stewart-Nuñez, Matt Mason, Penni Pearson, Lindy Obach, and Nate Hansen  flow over you . . . rock you . . . shock you . . . make you tremble even!
  

• Write poems and get feedback and guidance from Pearson and Stewart-Nuñez during workshops!
  

• Revel in our especially fabulous poetry reading and slam in the evening, which will feature Mason and truly wonderful slam prizes!! (Yes, you should slam.)
  
  

Our poets' presence and participation are made possible by a Speakers Bureau grant from the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities; by the College of Arts and Sciences; by the Department of English; and by us, the Vermillion Literary Project, a student organization at the University of South Dakota.
