Molecular Biology, Integrative Physiology, Functional Genomics, Omics, Biotechnology, Advanced Biostatistics.
My research centers on developing biotechnology tools to dissect gene function and to edit genomes in plants and animals, elucidating the regulatory mechanisms underpinning abiotic stress adaptation and tolerance in plants, as well as muscle aging in animals, and translating fundamental knowledge and discoveries to impact human health, agriculture, and society.
