Research Methods and Statistic-all levels. As a faculty member I was an early adopter of using the General Linear Modeling approach to teaching statistics starting in the 1990's. I have since added the use of randomization methods to help students better understand the behavior of statistical quantities.
Outside of statistics I have teach a course in motivation and emotion and have taught courses in the psychology of games and the psychology of virtual environments.
Virtual environments present many opportunities and challenges for use. I am interested in understanding when virtual environments benefit humans and when those environments are counterproductive. I also have an interest in understanding the human factors issues of how to optimize the human interface with virtual environments.
