Instructor in the Master of Public Health program, with an emphasis in biostatistics, public health policy, and social determinants of health.
I currently teach a graduate-level public health leadership course, a course in biostatistics for public health, and an undergraduate/graduate-level introduction to biostatistics for public health course. I oversee the summer semester of MPH practicums and advise MPH students on their capstone projects needed to graduate. I also serve as an academic advisor for MPH students.
My research interests lie primarily in the area of social determinants of health. I have a special interest in the effects of systemic barriers to success, positive youth outcomes, and maternal-child health.
