KIDS COUNT: The South Dakota KIDS COUNT project began in 1993 and is part of a network of projects supported and coordinated by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. A major goal of the Initiative is to foster a nationwide commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and their families. |

The project is located at The University of South Dakota, Beacom School of Business, Business Research Bureau. The project publishes an annual Factbook, a quarterly monograph, and special reports throughout the year.
