Safe Rides is a free transportation service devoted to saving lives, preventing injuries, protecting neighborhoods from late-night vandalism and keeping impaired drivers off the road. The service is available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. during the academic year, with the exception of holidays. At 1:30 a.m., Safe Rides follows a route system that focuses on the USD campus and downtown areas.
