We offer an online service to access free resources, such as DIY customizable design templates (e.g., fliers, postcards, brochures), PowerPoint templates and business cards through its online storefront, Design & Print Studio. You can also upload other university materials needed for affordable and quick printing via this storefront. Our in-house digital press ensures quick and high-quality printing, including thick glossy cardstock and variable data printing for personalized products or mailings.

USD Marketing & University Relations stewards the university’s internal and external communications strategy, including email marketing efforts that pertain to faculty, staff, students, families and key stakeholders. The department manages the intake and execution of communication requests, partnering with departments across campus to deliver news and key messages to the right audiences through the appropriate channels.

The university strives to deliver accurate, effective and timely messages while adhering to email best practices. Email efforts prioritize streamlining communications, minimizing email over-saturation, promoting brand alignment and championing the university’s strategic vision and goals. With these goals in mind, not all messages qualify for a standalone email; broader emails (such as newsletters) and other channels (such as social media posts) may be employed to communicate with target audiences.

Our creative services team accepts requests for graphic design services for custom projects or recruitment materials (e.g., full-bleed booklets or recruitment brochures). 

Turnaround time is typically 5-7 business days, but please note that larger projects will have extended lead times.
