The online Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) program has a flexible design. This program is geared towards adult learners interested in attaining a graduate degree tailored to meet their unique educational goals and interests as well as skilled workers looking to facilitate their career advancement. A student may choose to enroll on a full-time or part-time basis. There are numerous online course options in business, political science, administration, education, and health services administration.

The MAIS program requires a minimum of 32 credit hours, with a program of study comprised of two or three disciplines (9-12 credit hours each). This is the customized portion of the MAIS and it is designed in consultation with the advisor of the MAIS program. Moreover, the program requires an applied learning course and a research methods/statistics class.

  3. One official transcript verifying receipt of an undergraduate degree and previous graduate credit earned
  4. Three letters of recommendation
