Kinesiology and Sport Management (M.A.)


Program Overview


Prepare for careers in corporate fitness, management, facility operations, performance enhancement, and athletic administration. The exercise science specialization emphasizes human performance training, while the sport management specialization provides expertise in the business of sport, suitable for roles such as athletic director, event coordinator or facility manager. The exercise science specialization is offered with thesis or non-thesis. The sport management specialization in non-thesis only. Learn more at usd.edu/ksm.

Master of Arts, Kinesiology and Sport Management-Exercise Science Specialization Thesis: Total 30 credit hours


Core Coursework (12 credit hours)


Exercise Science Specialization (18 credit hours)


Note: The Master of Kinesiology in Sport Management Thesis option, is only offered with the Exercise Science Specialization.
