Master’s coursework: 0-30 credit hours (USD Chemistry, M.S. or an equivalent Master’s degree in Chemistry from a qualifying institution)
Graduate courses at 700 level offered by other departments may satisfy this requirement if the courses are related to the student’s primary area of research interest and must be approved by the department. Students matriculating with the M.S. in Chemistry from USD can count any 700-level chemistry lecture-based courses towards both degrees; CHEM 708 and CHEM 710 are excluded from double count.
