Coyote Capital Management Hosts Spring Business Leadership Conference

“This conference aimed to inspire the next generation of South Dakota's business leaders,” explained Alexis Moran, USD economics and finance student and senior analyst with CCM. “From marketing and private equity to law and human resources, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This event was put on by students for students. My team and I looked forward to this professional growth and networking day.”
The day featured both keynote presentations and panel discussions, drawing voices from a variety of industries across the region. The conference also included appearances from Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken, PREMIER Bankcard President Ben Marcello and more. Attendees gained valuable insight into leadership, career development and the evolving business landscape, leaving them with new connections and a clearer sense of how to succeed after graduation. Participants also had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions, tailored to specific fields.
“The conference was a valuable learning opportunity, not just for the students but also for the presenters looking to connect with emerging talent,” said Adrian Tippit, Ph.D., faculty advisor for CCM and assistant professor of finance. “It exemplified the kind of high-impact, student-centered experience that defines the Beacom School of Business’ approach to preparing future business leaders.”
CCM would like to thank and recognize Tom Johnson ’61, and his wife, Diane, for their generosity and support that made the Business Leadership Conference possible. Their commitment to supporting student-led initiatives ensures future Coyotes have opportunities to learn, lead and connect with business professionals across South Dakota.
