USD Beacom School of Business Welcomes Back Alumna as Career Success Center Manager
The University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business is welcoming alumna Lauren Foxhoven ’20, ’21 as the new manager of the Beacom Career Success Center. Foxhoven will be responsible for providing various resources to students that keep them competitive in the work industry as well as connected with potential employers.
“I had the opportunity to experience this position from both a student and employee standpoint while pursuing my degrees at USD, so I am familiar with the immense opportunities this position provides for our students,” Foxhoven said. “It wasn’t long ago that I was in the shoes of the students I will be helping, and I look forward to getting them started on the right path to a successful career.”
Foxhoven graduated from USD with her bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2020 and returned to complete her Master of Business Administration in 2021. While pursuing her degrees, Foxhoven held an active role as a student worker with the Beacom School of Business. She returns to the Beacom School of Business after a year and a half working in the marketing industry and is looking forward to being back on campus.
“I’m so excited to be back with the Beacom School of Business,” Foxhoven said. “When I graduated in 2021, I had always hoped to return to Beacom as an employee one day, and here I am. It’s a dream come true.”

At the Beacom School of Business, we take pride in having a 97% placement rate for graduates six months post-graduation and I believe with Lauren’s drive and quick ability to learn and connect with the student body, we will continue to be a valuable resource for not only students but businesses as well.”
