Abbott Released From Hospital Recovering
University of South Dakota President James W. Abbott was released from the hospital today after suffering a heart attack this weekend.
Abbott is expected to make a full recovery and is resting comfortably. He is very grateful for the quality care and attention he received from Sanford Vermillion and the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
He is also appreciative to all those who have reached out and expressed their well-wishes and support.
