Beacom Professor Awarded VCDC Young Professional of the Year
The Young Professional of the Year award, created four years ago, recognizes outstanding young professionals in the Vermillion community who commit themselves to excellence in the area of community engagement, as well as in their professional lives. The award was given to a record-breaking crowd at the Vermillion Chamber and Development Company’s Annual Banquet
Letellier joined the Beacom Business School faculty in fall 2015 and teaches courses in economics. Letellier is a South Dakota native and attended Northern State University and Florida International University. In addition to his campus responsibilities, Letellier serves as an active leader in Vermillion NEXT, promotes the community’s Art of Communication, as well as volunteers on the VCDC’s Governmental Affairs committee. He is committed to providing practical strategies for improving the livability of Vermillion’s LGBTQIA citizens.
