Beacom Students Prepare for Post-Graduation Careers
“This event is such a great opportunity to create a strong connection face-to-face with employers. They provide advice within the workplace and are willing to answer questions or concerns,” stated junior marketing major Jessica Jandera.
“Speed Networking was great way to connect regional employers to students to prepare them for the workforce by informing them about employment opportunities, current trends in the industry, and educating them on the needs of various industries and employers. Employers enjoyed the event because it gives them a chance to meet our students and create a pipeline for future employees,” said Mandy Hanson, manager of the Beacom Career Success Center.
One-third of the event attendees were Beacom graduate students and the remaining attendees were Beacom undergraduate students.
