Darwin Day Hosted Feb 12
University of South Dakota students will be able to learn about the life and research of Charles Darwin on “Darwin Day,” Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the South Dakota Union.
Associate psychology professor Holly Straub said the focus of this year’s Darwin’s Day will range from inclusiveness to Darwin’s contributions to psychology.
“Most people think of him as being a prominent figure in the history of biology, when in fact he is also prominent in the history of psychology,” Straub said.
The event will include cake and activities to celebrate Darwin’s birthday.
