Exhibitions Curated by USD Students to be on Display at John A Day Gallery
Four exhibitions curated by undergraduate students and one exhibition curated by graduate students will be on display. Each exhibition was curated by a group of students as part of their work for an advanced, hands-on art history course, “Art Museums: History and Practice.” The topics of the exhibitions include psychoanalysis and the figure, magazines and American culture, Chinese ceramics, the relationship between art and music and an examination of the value of damaged art. Each exhibition features student research and works of art from the collections of the University Art Galleries.
The University Art Galleries offer free admission and is open to the public weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
