Native American Law Student Association Volunteers at Vermillion Welcome Table
"We're honored to have served a night at the Vermillion Welcome Table for the third year in a row. Hopefully, it's a tradition that continues for many years to come,” said Josey Blare, a second-year law student and president of NASLA.
The primary mission of the Vermillion Welcome Table is to provide an inviting place where everyone can come together to share food, fellowship, service, and feel a sense of community. It serves meals every Monday night including most holidays.
"We're looking forward to participating in more volunteer activities in the future, including our annual toy and coat drive happening this winter,” said Blare. "The Native American Law Students Association's goal is to provide opportunities for professional and social development. That starts by being contributing members in our communities.”
