School of Law to Host Marsys Law Symposium
The University of South Dakota School of Law Criminal Justice Education Project and Women in Law student organizations will host an informational panel on the recently passed initiated Constitutional Amendment S known as Marsy’s Law.
“We have been working hard to get a panel put together which will be able to give the law school some beneficial information on Marsy’s law,” said Samantha Berglin, president of the Criminal Justice Club.
The panel will consist of four professionals from around the Siouxland area including Alexis Traci, Ryan Kolbeck, Jon Arneson and Traci Smith.
The symposium will occur Feb. 27 in the School of Law Court Room from 4:30-6:30 p.m. with a short reception to follow.
