Three USD Leaders Nominated for Women of Excellence Awards at the SME Women in Business Event
Several leaders from the University of South Dakota attended the 2023 Sales & Marketing Executives (SME) Women in Business event on March 21.
Three USD women were nominated for Women in Excellence awards, including Stephanie Larscheid, executive director at Prairie Family Business Association; Melissa Brandner, supervising dentist in the Department of Dental Hygiene; and Melissa Dittberner, Ph.D., Department of Addiction Counseling & Prevention lecturer.
The SME Women in Business Event, hosted at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, featured seminars and workshops, experience rooms focused on connecting and building key skills, a trade fair, the Women of Excellence awards and a keynote speaker. About 1,100 business leaders attended the event.
