USD and South Dakota Trade to Host International Trade Seminar Oct. 17
The University of South Dakota and South Dakota Trade (SDT) will offer their second co-branded event, “Export & Import Education: Managing Supply Chains and the Regulatory Environment,” on Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Avera Hall at the USD - Sioux Falls.

The seminar will focus on export and import education, as well as discovering the ins and outs of managing supply chains and navigating the regulatory environment.

- 8:30 - 10 a.m.: "Exploring the Global Marketplace: An Overview of Globalization and Trade," David Carr, Ph.D., USD Beacom School of Business professor of economics
- 10:30 a.m. - Noon: "Revolutionizing Supply Chains: Navigating 21s Century Trends and Innovations," Tom Martin, Beacom School of Business instructor
- 12:45 - 4:30 p.m.: "Your Regulatory Role in the International Supply (Value) Chain," Donna M. Mullins, Kale Info Solutions (USA) vice president
