The conference begins with an evening reception Oct. 12 from 6-9 p.m. at The Bean Coffeehouse in downtown Vermillion. The reception features dramatic readings from Mary Shelley’s novel, casual conversation, refreshments and door prizes.

On Oct. 13, there will be five panel presentations by undergraduates from USD, other South Dakota colleges and from schools across the nation from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in MUC Ballroom C. Panels focus on topics such as monstrosity, science and technology, gender politics and more.
