USD Women in Law Host Panel on Sexual Assault
The University of South Dakota Women in Law, in collaboration with USD’s I CARE program, hosts “What is the Law?” on Feb. 9, a panel discussion on the legal aspects of sexual assault cases.
The panel will include both defense and prosecuting attorneys and will discuss the unique legal issues and procedures involved in sexual assault cases.
The will be hosted on Feb. 9 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Law School Courtroom.
I CARE is a federal grant received by USD. I CARE is committed to preventing and responding to sexual assault at USD through programming and advocacy. Women in Law is a student group within the USD School of Law that seeks to support and recognize women law students and legal scholars.
