The reception is scheduled for May 5 from 5-7 p.m. in the John A. Day Gallery.

Patruyo is a senior majoring in graphic design and minoring in art history. His exhibition, titled “What’s Going On? The Rhetoric of Music Albums Imagined in Swiss Style,” will feature a series of posters depicting six different bands and their albums using the Swiss style typographical design.

After graduating, Patruyo plans to stay in his hometown of Sioux Falls and become a brand designer for an in-house company while preparing for a career in graphic design.

The exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
