Get Acquainted with Trends in Literary Studies

English Webinar Series

The English department hosts a colloquium series open to the public and is scheduled for one hour on Monday afternoons. These well-attended lectures have a Q&A segment and are delivered by members of the department and outside speakers. The lectures have ranged in period from "The British Renaissance and Forms of Poetry" to "Twenty-first Century Poetics" and approaches from theory to environmental criticism. Become acquainted with the work of faculty members, listen to new work by creative writers, and engage in on-going conversations in literary studies and creative writing.

On Monday, November 23 at 4 p.m. Central Daylight Time, the University of South Dakota will offer USD English Colloquium Series: “Notes from Tributary Voices,” a Lecture by Dr. Paul Formisano. Attendees will have an opportunity to speak with him and ask questions after the lecture.

HOW TO REGISTER: Please use the form below and register by Thursday, November 19. We also invite you to submit any questions or topics you would like the panel to address during this conversation or in future webinars.
