We offer many scholarships for those who choose to study history.
Preference for this scholarship is given to history majors with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences who have excelled in the study of Latin, Greek or ancient history at USD.
This scholarship is awarded to the most promising graduate student in the Department of History who is a candidate for the Master of Arts degree in history.
This scholarship is awarded to students who are pursuing a major in history and studying abroad as part of a USD/Department of History-approved study abroad experience.
Students enrolled in or accepted by the USD Department of History are eligible for this scholarship. First preference is given to students in the USD Scholars program.
Students with good people skills, who are "down to earth" and have the potential to make something of themselves are eligible for this scholarship. Financial need may also be taken into consideration, but is not the sole determining factor. Applicants should have a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.3 and have average to above-average potential, separate from strictly academic considerations.
