The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers many scholarships for students who pursue math as a field of study.

This scholarship is available to mathematics or computer science majors with preference to South Dakota residents.

This scholarship is available to undergraduate mathematics majors.

Recipients must be declared majors in mathematics or mathematics education who have completed at least 16 credit hours at USD. Recipients must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.5 cumulative mathematics GPA.

This scholarship is available to undergraduate mathematics majors with financial need.

This scholarship is available to undergraduate math majors who meet requirements of the Promise Plus Program.

This scholarship is available to undergraduate mathematics majors.

Four scholarships are available each year, two to students from large high schools and two to students from smaller high schools.

An undergraduate math major receives this scholarship each year. Preference is given to a minority student.

This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a master's degree in math.

Recipients must be junior or senior math majors, have graduated from a South Dakota high school and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.

First preference for this scholarship is given to math majors, while first consideration is given to students in the USD Scholars program.
