Dear Campus Community,
Thank you for following safety protocols during our first two weeks together on campus. As the semester continues, it is important we remain vigilant in our efforts to #ProtectThePack, including by wearing face coverings properly.
When you wear a face covering, please ensure it is covering both your nose and mouth. This is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is required per university policy. Do not wear your face covering in any way that would leave your nose or mouth exposed, as this puts others at risk. You can do your part to protect others by securing your face covering properly, washing your hands regularly and maintaining physical distance from others when possible.
The CDC has prepared instructions on How to Wear Masks and How to Wash Masks; please consult these resources if you have any questions about safe practices regarding face coverings. You can find more information about USD’s response to COVID-19 by visiting usd.edu/COVID19, and you can contact us directly at COVID19@usd.edu.
Thank you for your efforts to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect your Coyote community.
