Training educators to improve outcomes for young students struggling with reading and writing.
The University of South Dakota is one of the 19 training centers that offers graduate coursework in Reading Recovery techniques. We are licensed to use the Reading Recovery trademark and to train teacher leaders and Reading Recovery teachers. Our training center operates as a regional training site.
Through school commitment to early literacy and prevention of literacy difficulties, Reading Recovery changes the performance of more than 2,700 children in our region each year.
