Concert Choir

Our concert choir is the large select choral ensemble for undergraduate and graduate music students and open to all students, regardless of major. Our students perform a broad range of accompanied and unaccompanied choral literature, as well as larger choral masterworks. As a member of the concert choir, you'll travel throughout the state and region. Past choirs have performed with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra and the Sioux City Symphony and have been selected to perform for state and regional conventions.

Choir auditions (for both Chamber Singers and Concert Choir) will be held on August 26 and August 27 in Timothy Campbell’s office (FA129) in the Fine Arts Building. A sign-up sheet will be placed outside the door. Please sign up for a time convenient to your schedule. The audition will consist of vocalization to determine voice placement, performing "My Country tis of Thee" a cappella, singing a major and chromatic scale, tonal memory exercises and sight singing.

The concert choir rehearses Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-3:50 p.m.
