All scholarship applications must be submitted through the university's central online scholarship application.
This scholarship is given to a student with financial need and average grades. The scholarship is given in memory of Stacey Lynn Myers, a 2007 graduate of Yankton High School and a 2012 graduate of USD, where she majored in addiction studies. Stacey's family wants to continue her legacy of helping people by providing this scholarship to the deserving students in addiction studies.
This scholarship is given to students majoring in addiction studies. Recipients must be juniors or seniors during the academic year the scholarship takes effect and be involved in the USD community. Financial need will be considered. Applications are required and include a description of career goals and why the student believes they will be an effective counselor.
This scholarship is for an undergraduate or graduate student in the health care field. Preference will be given to students who show some financial need and have outstanding accomplishments and aspirations to serve the health care system.
