Before starting the application process, make sure you meet the R.N.-B.S.N. admission criteria.
The following must be completed in order to be considered for admission to the nursing program.
Step 1: Apply to USD
Student must be admitted to USD prior to the nursing application deadline. Official transcripts will be required.
Step 2: Apply to the Nursing Program
Summer admission deadline: April 1
Fall admission deadline: July 15
Spring admission deadline: December 1
The following items must be completed and received on or before midnight on the due date in order to be given full consideration:
Students enrolled in a R.N.-B.S.N. nursing program other than USD are eligible for selection into the USD nursing program as long as they have left the previous program in good standing.

There is no fee to submit the USD nursing application. However, if you are admitted to the R.N.-B.S.N. program and accept the conditional offer of admission, you will be required to complete additional requirements and will be responsible for all expenses incurred.
