Undergraduate students may choose any USD major with required prerequisite coursework in preparation for applying to a graduate occupational therapy program. Common undergraduate degrees include Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, and Health Sciences. Most programs require a bachelor's degree, preferred GPA and coursework in:
- Social sciences
USD and other graduate programs consider academic performance, character, knowledge of the profession and a preferred score on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Test or the GRE Revised General Test for entry into the program.
