Pre-Occupational Therapy

Undergraduate students may choose any USD major with required prerequisite coursework in preparation for applying to a graduate occupational therapy program. Common undergraduate degrees include Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, and Health Sciences. Most programs require a bachelor's degree, preferred GPA and coursework in:

  • Biology
  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Social sciences
  • Statistics
  • Humanities

USD and other graduate programs consider academic performance, character and knowledge of the profession for entry into the program.
